What is Illustrator?
Illustrator is a computer program that is used to design 2D images. Typically it is used to make logos because of its ability to use text, images, and shapes. Also, Illustrator uses raster images which means it does not use pixels, allowing projects to be very large in size, without becoming blurry. Illustrator can be hooked up to vinyl cutters and lasers to create projects such as decals and key chains.

Conclusion
Doing these two projects helped me become much more familiar with Adobe Illustrator. I have previous experience using Photoshop so I was able to pick it up fast. I also learned how to set up the laser which is helpful because I am going to have to use it three more times in the class. I also learned how to print a decal for my notebook using the vinyl cutter. Overall, I learned how to use more software and machines that will help me in the future of the class.
